Greetings!

After months of hard work, we’re finally nearing the launch of Flicklist to the public. We think it will help change the film world for the better, and we hope you’re as excited to use the app as we are. We had a few delays as we implemented feedback based on some of our beta testers, and are now ready to give invitations to those who requested one.
Flicklist is the easiest way to find new films. It cuts through the noise to find the best films to watch with your friends, based on the opinions of those you trust. Flicklist helps you discover, share and socialize around any film – whether it is available in theaters, at festivals, online or at home.
Far more than just a universal queue, Flicklist is a comprehensive social network. You can easily socialize around films by inviting others to join you, curating your own lists, and following the recommendations of experts who are uniquely right for you, whether those experts are your friends, critics, filmmakers, or just intriguing people – even some celebrities.
Flicklist is based on the notion of trusted recommendations for films, so we’re also giving each of you five invites, so that we might start spreading the app first to the people whose opinions we all trust. In the coming weeks, we’ll open the doors to everyone, but we want to start by ensuring that you can find the people you trust from day one. So please take a little time to invite your most trusted friends to Flicklist. To do so, once logged in, go to the “me” section in the right of the navigation bar and press the gear button in the top right corner. Press the “Link with Facebook” button and enter your login info. Once you’ve logged in, that button will read “Find Friends” and you can click anyone’s name to invite them to use Flicklist.
We’ve integrated the majority of films into our database, and are adding new titles from the film festival circuit daily. We hope you’ll use Flicklist to build your queue of films you want to see, discover new titles and share them with others.
It’s never been easier or more fun to track the films you’ve seen or start watching the films you want to see.
