COLLABORATION FOR CHANGE:
Collaboration between Brands and Foundations for Social Change through Media

July 30th at 10am PST/1pm EST

This Group Discussion/Panel is a Private Invite-Only Event as part of the BrandStorytelling ELEVATE Summer Conference. The discussion is being sponsored by the Brand Foundation Alliance and is open to all BFA members and friends (if you're getting this email, that's you).

In the wake of the Covid-19 crisis, the Black Lives Matter protests and the #StopHateForProfit boycott - that have all opened many brands eyes to their need to take a stand, it's more apparent than ever that it takes a community to make a difference. It's time for brands to collaborate - with one another, and with the foundation community - to achieve greater impact through social issue films and media. At the same time, many brands are facing severe budget cuts, and foundation's have multiple crisis areas to address, meaning there should be even more willingness to collaborate to make budgets go further. What will it take to get brands and foundations to collaborate more? Are there good examples? In advance of the panel, you may want to read panel organizer, Brian Newman’s recent article on the need for more collaboration, where he gives some examples for comparison.
Join this panel to learn more about creative collaboration for impact.
